Something new from Ravensburger

Have you been caught up in the new trend of Adult Colouring books.  I know I have and thoroughly enjoy, after a busy day, nothing more than sitting and colouring.  It is so relaxing.  Even if more than one person was colouring the same, none would be identical.

To do this review I have enlisted the help of Harrods, my bear.

This is a new concept from Ravensburger.   Not only do this company create fantastic jigsaws but are now branching into the Colouring Book Field.

The book I was sent to review is designed by Colin Thompson.

I was excited when the book arrived but even more so when I opened it and looked inside.  The front cover reveals a small indication of the world to be discovered in the book.

Drawings are extremely detailed and interesting to colour.

Looking at the sketches there is a lot of very intricate detail and you find things that you did not originally see, as you start looking further into the picture.

Colin Thompsons world is a fantastical one   His detail is amazing.

From the Bizarre Bookshop to his Bizarre Town and even the Gardener's Cupboard, the book brings many of Colin's designs together.

I was inspired by the rich detail in the images.   Colin is known as one of the best-loved puzzle artists, so it is lovely to have a book of his designs, which you are able to turn into your own personal works of Art.
