Why not try Needlepoint ?
One of the Workshops we were involved in during our fab visit to the ICHF show at the NEC on Saturday, was run by Tina Francis.
Fantastic bubbly person whose work is beautiful.
As we ran out of time Tina gave me a blank piece of canvas, a brooch mount and the instructions, and since I am a cross stitcher I said that I would create my piece using variegated cottons. The piece is usually created working with wool.
This is what I came up with.
I love the results but a full kit can be purchased from Tina's webpage. Tina Francis Tapestry
